UDHC Lahore is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Project Manager – Healthcare to lead and manage large-scale healthcare initiatives across clinical, operational, and digital health domains. Role Overview

The Business Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and successful delivery. The role requires close collaboration with clinical teams, IT departments, executive leadership, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with healthcare regulations and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

The selected candidate will lead end-to-end project management activities, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation models, as well as implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Tracking milestones and reporting performance through dashboards and KPIs will also be essential.

Healthcare Program Implementation

A major component of the role involves managing the implementation of digital health systems and healthcare programs. These may include EMR/EHR platforms, telemedicine services, remote patient monitoring programs, hospital-at-home models, and clinical workflow optimization initiatives. The project manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption.

Stakeholder and Executive Management

The Business Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, healthcare providers, IT teams, and external partners. The role includes conducting steering committee meetings, preparing executive reports, and ensuring alignment between project outcomes and business goals.

Regulatory and Compliance Oversight

Healthcare projects require strict adherence to regulatory standards and data security protocols. The selected professional will ensure that all projects comply with healthcare regulations, audit requirements, and internal policies. Vendor and Partner Coordination

Managing third-party vendors, technology providers, and implementation partners is another critical aspect of this role. The candidate will oversee service-level agreements (SLAs), integration milestones, and contractual obligations to ensure project delivery standards are met.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience managing healthcare or digital health projects. Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.

A strong understanding of healthcare workflows, digital health technologies, and regulatory frameworks is essential. Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills are also required.

Preferred Experience

Professionals with experience working in hospitals, healthcare systems, or digital health organizations will be highly preferred. Knowledge of value-based care models, population health programs, and healthcare IT integrations such as HL7, FHIR, or APIs will be considered an advantage.
